Will there be a High Heat season 2 on Netflix?

At this time of writing, Netflix has yet to reveal whether it has canceled or renewed High Heat for season 2.

With the mixed reviews, we’re not too sure whether the Mexican drama will make a return to the streamer, as currently there is no news, and the ending of season 1 wrapped things up pretty well, so it could be a stand-alone series. However, it’s still early days. It’s been less than a month since the telenovela made its debut on Netflix so there is still plenty of time before the streamer makes an official decision. It all depended on the overall response, and how much viewers are enjoying the series. According to What’s On Netflix, in the first three weeks of High Heat’s release, it “fared well” with viewers slowly making their way through the many episodes, but it was described as a potential “slow burn” meaning that it could find its momentum a little later compared to other series.

All 39 episodes are currently available to stream on Netflix, so if you want a renewal make sure to rack up those numbers.

Stay tuned for further updates on High Heat season 2!
