Who’s in the Netflix show?


Are you a fan of the workplace comedies Superstore, Brooklyn Nine-NineParks and Recreation and The Office? If so, you need to add Blockbuster to your watchlist right now. It premieres on Netflix on Nov. 3, and it’s definitely a must-watch!

Blockbuster was created and executive produced by Vanessa Ramos. Ramos is very skilled in the workplace comedy genre because she worked as a writer on the hit TV shows Superstore and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

The show centers around the last Blockbuster Video in America and its employees. After finding out they’re the last Blockbuster open, the employees work together to try to keep the video store open and stay relevant.

So, who’s in the workplace comedy cast? Below, you’ll find the complete main cast list.

Blockbuster cast

Randall Park plays the protagonist in the series, Timmy Yoon. Timmy is a lover of movies and has worked at the Blockbuster video store since he was a teen. He’s also the manager of the store. You might know Randall from his roles in the movies The Interview and Always Be My Maybe. He was also in the TV shows Fresh Off the Boat and WandaVision. We’ll see Randall next in the upcoming films StraysAnt-Man and the Wasp: QuantumaniaAquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Totally Killer. He’ll also be in a Netflix animated series titled Blue Eye Samurai.

Melissa Fumero portrays Eliza Walker, a loving mother whose marriage to her high school sweetheart is practically over. She left Harvard after one semester to start a family and now works at the video store. Eliza is also Timmy’s long-time crush. Melissa had roles in Gossip GirlOne Life to Live and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. We’ll see her next in the movie Bar Fight! and the TV shows Velma and Digman!.
