Who’s in the Netflix K-Drama?

Little Women is set to premiere on Netflix on Sept. 3. It’s a new K-Drama following three poor sisters whose lives suddenly change for the better when one of them comes across a bag with 70 billion won. But it’s not all good because their possession of the money causes them to get entangled with South Korea’s wealthiest family.

The mystery series was developed by Studio Dragon, the same production company that brought us the Netflix original series Love Alarm, Sweet Home and Twenty-Five Twenty-One. It was helmed by Vincenzo director Kim Hee-won and written by Chung Seo-kyung. In addition, it was adapted into a television series from Louisa May Alcott’s 1868 novel of the same name.

Little Women cast

The three protagonists are played by Kim Go-eun, Nam Ji-hyun, and Park Ji-hu. You might recognize Kim Go-eun from her role as Han Eun-gyo in the South Korean erotic romantic film A Muse. She won several awards for her portrayal. She also had roles in the Korean series Cheese in the TrapGuardian: The Lonely and Great GodThe King: Eternal Monarch and Yumi’s Cells.

Nam Ji-hyun is best known for her roles in the K-Dramas Queen SeondeokSuspicious Partner,100 Days My Prince and 365: Repeat the Year.

Park Ji-hu is fairly new to the South Korean entertainment industry. She doesn’t have that many projects under her belt yet. However, she’s best known for her leading roles in the South Korean drama film House of Hummingbird and Netflix’s All of Us Are Dead.
