Who stars in the Netflix movie?

There’s just something about Christmas movies that we can’t get enough of! Every year, new ones are produced, and it’s always an exciting time. I’m primarily a sucker for holiday films that have romantic sparks flying. One of those this season is The Noel Diary!

The Netflix production follows Jake Turner, who returns home on Christmas to settle his “estranged mother’s estate,” according to Netflix. The best-selling author finds a diary with secrets from his past and those of Rachel, who is trying to track down her birth mother. The novelist and “intriguing young woman” go on a journey to track her down, perhaps becoming closer.

The film, which will be released on Thursday, November 24, 2022 (Thanksgiving Day in the U.S.) on Netflix, is an adaption of the novel by author Richard Paul Evan. As a director, Charles Shyer takes the lead behind the scenes, with Rebecca Connor and David Golden writing the screenplay.

So who are the actors bringing this story to life from the page? We’ve got the answer for you below!

Who stars in The Noel Diary on Netflix?

If you were a fan of This Is Us, then you’ll be excited to know that Kevin Pearson, aka actor Justin Hartley, will take on the lead role of Jake Turner in The Noel Diary! This is the star’s first significant role since we said goodbye to the beloved NBC series.

Barrett Doss plays Rachel and stands opposite the actor as his character’s love interest. Here is the complete cast list:

  • Justin Hartley as Jake Turner
  • Barrett Doss as Rachel
  • Bonnie Bedelia
  • James Remar
  • Essence Atkins

Hartley will also executive produce the film alongside Norman Stephens and Andrew Gernhard. Producers on the project include Timothy O. Johnson, Stephanie Slack, and Margret H. Huddleston.
