Sarah Michelle Gellar Do Revenge role explained
Sarah Michelle Gellar portrays the headmaster at Rosehill Country Day. Fortunately, she doesn’t make a brief appearance. Actually, she pops up several times throughout the movie.
Gellar’s character makes her first appearance in the film after Drea’s sex tape gets leaked and she punches Max in the face. Due to her actions, Drea is sent to the headmaster’s office. After Drea says something to the headmaster, the headmaster turns around and it’s Sarah Michelle Gellar. Since Drea punched Max in the face, the headmaster has to punish her. She puts Drea on behavioral probation and mandatory community service. The headmaster also tells Drea that if she has any more altercations with Max, she’ll have to revoke her scholarship.
The next time we see the headmaster is when she heads to the greenhouse after Drea anonymously tips her off about mushrooms (drugs) being grown there. Later, we see the headmaster again after Drea is sent to her office. The headmaster tells Drea that Yale rejected her because her grades slipped, she doesn’t have an extracurricular, and someone sent them the magazine piece detailing her assault on Max.
The last time we see Gellar’s character is at the end of the film. While sitting in her office, the headmaster informs Drea that Max has been expelled and a spot has opened at Yale. She also tells Drea she’d like to make a call on her behalf to Yale to help her chances of getting in. But after everything Drea’s been through, Drea realizes that attending Yale isn’t what she wants anymore. The headmaster understands how Drea feels and then gives her some parting advice.
