Florence Pugh will return to Netflix with her new film The Wonder on Nov. 16. We would hate for you to miss this movie’s release, so we decided to share the exact time it will be dropped on the streamer along with more details about it below.
The Wonder is a drama film helmed by Sebastián Lelio from a screenplay co-written by Lelio, Emma Donoghue, and Alice Birch. It’s a movie adaptation of Donoghue’s 2016 book of the same name.
The story takes place in 1862 and follows English Nurse Lib Wright (Florence Pugh) as she is sent to a rural village in Ireland to conduct a 15-day examination of a young girl (Kíla Lord Cassidy) who is said to have survived without food for months.
Other than Pugh and Cassidy, the cast is made up of Tom Burke, Elaine Cassidy, Caolán Byrne, Niamh Algar, Toby Jones, Ciarán Hinds, Dermot Crowley, Brían F. O’Byrne, and others.
The Wonder release time
You can expect the drama movie to make its way to Netflix on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET. Of course, these times only apply to people living on the West Coast and East Coast of the United States. If you’re in the Central time zone, you’re looking at a release time of 2:00 a.m. CT on Nov. 16.
The film is rated R, meaning it’s intended to be watched by mature audiences only. It was given this age rating for some sexuality. You can also expect violence, sexual content, and profanity use. Overall, this movie contains some adult material that would not be appropriate for younger audiences to watch. We strongly recommend watching The Wonder when no kids are around.
