We’re quickly approaching the release date for Blonde starring Ana de Armas. In just two days, the drama film will be released on Netflix and people will be taken on a journey through the life of the famous actress and Hollywood legend, Marilyn Monroe.
Based on the 2000 best-selling book of the same name by Joyce Carol Oates comes a fictionalized story chronicling Marilyn Monroe’s life and career. The film was written and directed by Andrew Dominik, whose known for writing and directing the movies The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and Killing Them Softly. He also directed two episodes of the Netflix original series Mindhunter.
Blonde had its world premiere at the 79th Venice International Film Festival on Sept. 8, followed by a limited theatrical release in the U.S. starting on Sept. 16. Now, Netflix subscribers will finally get to see the film on Sept. 28. But what time will the drama film be dropped on Netflix?

It has a runtime of 2 hours and 46 minutes, so it’s a pretty long movie. But if you’re a night owl, you should have no problem staying up late to watch it. Even if you don’t usually stay up late, we believe you can do so just this one time.
Blonde parents guide and age rating
The drama film is rated NC-17, meaning it’s inappropriate for ages 17 and under. It was given this age rating due to some sexual content. The movie will include a graphic rape scene. It will also likely contain nudity. Overall, we highly recommend watching this movie when no kids are around.
