What is the Netflix K-Drama Little Women about?


Netflix will be expanding its ever-growing Korean series library with the release of a new mystery series titled Little Women on Sept. 3. Now that popular K-Dramas Extraordinary Attorney Woo and the first part of Alchemy of Souls have wrapped up on Netflix, people have been looking for new Korean content. So Little Women came just in time!

Little Women is a South Korean original series produced by Studio Dragon. Kim Hee-won helmed the series from scripts written by Chung Seo-kyung. Additionally, it’s based on the 1868 book of the same name by Louisa May Alcott.

The cast consists of some well-known and up-and-coming South Korean actors such as Kim Go-eun, Nam Ji-hyun, Park Ji-hu, Wi Ha-joon, Uhm Ji-won, Um Ki-joon, Kim Mi-sook, Kang Hoon, Jeon Chae-eun, Gong Min-jeung, and others.

After looking at the trailer for Little Women, we believe it has a good shot at being a success. It has an amazing cast and looks to be of high quality. And you’ll definitely agree with me after you find out what it’s about.

What is the Netflix K-Drama Little Women about?

The story follows three sisters, who after living in poverty all their life, finally see the light at the end of the tunnel when they suddenly come across a mysteriously large sum of money. But of course, with such a large amount of money, the people it belongs to want it back. This leads the three sisters to get entangled in a conspiracy involving the wealthiest family in South Korea.

It is rated TV-14, which means it may not be appropriate for ages 14 and under. It was given this age rating for substance use, fear, strong language, and suicide. Overall, parents are strongly cautioned.

According to Netflix, Little Women is packed with many twists and turns. So you can expect to be on the edge of your seat throughout the entire season.
