American actor and writer Hunter Doohan stars in Tim Burton’s Addams Family series Wednesday as boy-next-door Tyler Galpin.
In the show, the characters are divided into two categories: normies and outcasts. People like Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) and her werewolf roommate Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) are outcasts, along with all the other Nevermore Academy students, while Tyler is just a regular, “normal” guy working as a barista in the surrounding small town of Jericho.
Despite Tyler’s sweet exterior, he has some secrets to hide from Wednesday as he gets to know her and his past is darker than one might expect. Besides being a barista, Tyler has to juggle the normal complications of being a teenager along with being Sheriff Donovan Galpin’s (Ian McShane) son.
