We’re quickly approaching spooky season as September comes to an end, and I don’t know about you, but I’m more than ready. Fall has officially started today and I want some horror!
While we wait for some of Netflix’s biggest new October releases to come out, which we already know will include the likes of The Midnight Club and Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, we just found out some news about an upcoming November release. We already knew that Tim Burton’s Wednesday will not premiere on Netflix in time for Halloween, but we won’t have to wait too long to get the new show.
Wednesday, following the titular character from the fictional Addams Family, stars You‘s Jenna Ortega alongside famous actors Catherine-Zeta Jones, Luis Guzmán, and The Sandman‘s Gwendoline Christie. Fans of the original show and movie adaptations have been excited for this upcoming series since it was announced back in 2020.
Now, we’re inching closer to the release date, which Netflix just confirmed!
Wednesday release date
Netflix just announced on Friday that Wednesday will be coming to the streamer on Nov. 23, 2022. That’s the day before Thanksgiving, which is pretty ideal considering families will be together to all watch.
Other Netflix releases we can expect in November 2022 include Manifest season 4, The Crown season 5, Blockbuster, Enola Holmes 2, and as we just recently learned, Dead to Me season 3. The streamer will also start up their winter holiday lineup in November, with titles like Falling for Christmas and Christmas With You set to premiere.
While we’re disappointed we won’t be getting the release of Wednesday this October for Halloween, we’re still super excited to check out the new show. Watch the teaser trailer below to get hyped for it:
Keep up with us for more updates on the Wednesday release date.
