Wednesday is not coming to Netflix in September 2022

We know Wednesday is heading to Netflix at some point this year. Sadly, it’s not going to be this month. When can we expect the spooky series?

If there is one new show we’re excited about, it’s Tim Burton’s Wednesday. The series focuses on a fan favorite character, with Jenna Ortega in the role. Christina Ricci will be part of the series, though, so there’s no need to worry about that. Of course, we are very excited to see Catherine Zeta-Jones in the role of Morticia Addams!

The bad news is we’re still waiting for the show to premiere. While it is coming sometime in 2022, it’s not going to be in September. If we are honest, October does seem like a better month for a spooky show.

When is Wednesday coming to Netflix?

Will it be October, then? Netflix hasn’t announced the official release date yet, except that it is sometime in the fall. That means October or November at this point.

There was a rumor on Aug. 31 that it would arrive in November. However, Netflix removed that listing from its site and continued with the “coming this fall.” That happened with a few shows, including The Crown, which we do know is arriving in November.

It’s not the first time something like this has happened. Netflix did state Nov. 4 for Manifest Season 4 at one point and then backtracked on that date, only for us to find out that the date was correct. So, we’re looking out for this Tim Burton series to arrive in November for now.

The series is set to bring the elder child of Morticia and Gomez to life. She’s heading to Nevermore Academy, where she’ll get the chance to harness her psychic ability. However, when there’s a monstrous killing spree, the teen finds herself in the middle of a mystery that dates back 25 years and involved her parents.

Stay tuned for the latest updates on Wednesday on Netflix.
