The Witcher season 3 is not coming in October 2022

We would love to bring some good news about The Witcher season 3 right now. Sadly, all we have is news that it’s not coming in October 2022.

There’s nothing more than we’d love to say “surprise, The Witcher season 3 is coming this month.” That’s not the case, though, and it doesn’t matter how many coins we toss. We just have to wait for some updates.

While we’re not going to see the season arrive this month, we do have some good news. The first is that the origin series The Witcher: Blood Origin is going to arrive in December. The second is that we have a season for the release of the OG series.

When will The Witcher season 3 come to Netflix?

The good news we have a small light at the end of the tunnel. During TUDUM, Netflix confirmed that The Witcher season 3 is coming in 2023. Not just that, but we’ll see it in the summer. That’s right; we don’t have to wait until the winter!

That certainly narrows down the months we’re waiting. It could be anywhere between the end of June and the end of September. Considering the series wrapped filming during this summer, we’re looking at around the earlier part of the season for the release. That should give everyone time for the post-production process.

Until then, we’ll have the prequel spin-off to keep us company. The Witcher: Blood Origin is finally going to come out in December 2022. In fact, it’s arriving on Christmas Day! The series was supposed to arrive earlier, but some reshoots and a change to the episode count were needed and that’s changed everything. Sadly, we’re only getting four episodes instead of the originally-planned six according to rumors.

The Witcher season 3 is set to arrive on Netflix in summer 2023. Stay tuned for the exact release date.
