The Winx Saga season 2? (Spoilers)

It’s time to binge through another new season of Fate: The Winx Saga because the second installment is finally streaming on Netflix! The teen fantasy series is based on the Nickelodeon animated show Winx Club, starring Abigail Cowen as Bloom Peters, a fairy who didn’t know about her powers until the events leading up to season 1. Now, she attends a boarding school for magical kids called Alfea out in the Otherworld. But just because she now knows about her powers and why she has them doesn’t mean she’s totally got them under control.

Bloom starts dating a specialist at Alfea named Sky (Danny Griffin), and their relationship is a big part of the show. In Fate: The Winx Saga season 2, they start getting more serious, though there are things happening around them that cause a lot of tension. Can they be together when Bloom could be dangerous?

Spoilers ahead for Fate: The Winx Saga season 2.

Despite Sky and Bloom facing some problems in Fate: The Winx Saga season 2, it’s obvious they care deeply for each other and would do anything to keep the other safe. This is proven in the season finale when Sebastian has Sky tied up as a hostage and needs Bloom to do one thing in order to release him. Sebastian wants Bloom’s Dragon Flame and Bloom is willing to transfer the power to him if that means Sky is safe.

Bloom takes Sebastian’s word and begins transferring her Dragon Flame power to him when Beatrix (Sadie Soverall) shows up. She asks Bloom if she knows what Sebastian would use the Dragon Flame for, and though Bloom doesn’t know, she also doesn’t think it matters. She just wants Sky to be safe. But Beatrix interferes and ends up killing Sky, telling them that she just saved the world.

Does Sky come back to life in Fate: The Winx Saga season 2?

Sky dies in Fate: The Winx Saga season 2, which obviously devastates Bloom. She gets angry and her powers start up, but fortunately Sebastian is able to save Sky. Using his Blood Witch magic, he brings Sky back to life.

At the end of the season, Sky is very much alive and well. Physically well, that is. Emotionally, he’s all over the place because Bloom decides to leave the Otherworld and enter the Realm of Darkness which Sebastian opened so she can go and close it. She’s on a serious mission and doesn’t have time for Sky right now. Which is understandable. She’s got a lot of power and is trying to use it for good!

We’re relieved Sky is brought back to life because he’s been such a great part of the show. If Fate: The Winx Saga season 3 happens, we’re hopeful he and Bloom will be together once again.
