Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes is an upcoming Netflix original series directed and executive produced by Academy Award nominee Joe Berlinger. This is the third chapter in the Conversations with a Killer series, with the other iterations centered on serial killers John Wayne Gacy and Ted Bundy.
This three-part true crime documentary consists of never-before-heard audio interviews between Dahmer and his defense team, explores the disturbed mind of a serial killer, and hears Dahmer explain the gruesome murders he committed in his own words. According to Netflix, it also “examines police accountability through a modern-day lens.”

You can expect the three-part series to be released on Netflix on Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET. Of course, these release times only apply to people living on the West Coast and East Coast of the U.S. If you’re in the Central time zone, you’re looking at a release at 2:00 a.m. CT on Oct. 7.
It is rated TV-MA, meaning it’s intended to be watched by mature audiences only. It was given this age rating for strong language, child abuse references, sexual violence references, disturbing images, and smoking. Overall, it may not be suitable for ages 17 and under.
