Is Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story based on a book?
Nope. Unlike the films My Friend Dahmer and Dahmer, the drama series is original work written by Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan, and several other writers. It isn’t based on a book. However, it is based on a horrifying true story. It examines and follows the gruesome murders of Dahmer but offers a more unique take on it by mainly telling the story from the point of view of Dahmer’s victims.
