Jewish Matchmaking release updates, synopsis, episode count, and more

For those who didn’t already know, Netflix has a new Jewish Matchmaking show in the works!

Earlier this year Netflix announced its plans for a slate of dating reality shows to hit our screens throughout 2022 and 2023, and Jewish Matchmaking — a reality show from the creators of Indian Matchmaking — is just one of the shows we’re excited to watch make its debut.

Similarly to the premise of Indian Matchmaking, the upcoming spin-off show will follow a handful of singles, in both America and Israel, as they “turn their dating life over to a top Jewish matchmaker.”

Here’s everything we know about Jewish Matchmaking.

Jewish Matchmaking synopsis

Check out the show’s official synopsis below.

“A new series from the producers of Indian Matchmaking, Jewish Matchmaking features singles in the US and Israel as they turn their dating life over to a top Jewish matchmaker. Will using the traditional practice of shidduchim dating help them find their soulmate in today’s world?”

Jewish Matchmaking release date

Unfortunately, for the moment, the new Jewish dating show does not have an official Netflix release date, however, on Sept. 22, the streamer announced that you can expect the reality tv show to arrive sometime “in spring 2023”.

Jewish Matchmaking episode count

According to an official statement from Netflix, the upcoming series will consist of eight 1 hour-long episodes. However, we’re not too sure whether all the new episodes would be released all in one go, or will be spread out weekly. However, given that seasons 1 and 2 were all released at once, we doubt this will deviate.

Jewish Matchmaking trailer

Unfortunately, at this moment in time, it is still too early for Netflix to have released a trailer for the reality show, but that is likely because production on the show is still very much in the early stages. So it’ll be a while still until a trailer is released.
