Science-fiction series Quantum Leap is back! NBC has ordered a sixth season revival of the popular series that ran from March 1989 to May 1993. Unfortunately, Scott Bakula will not be back as Dr. Sam Beckett, but Top Gun: Maverick star Raymond Lee is perfectly primed to take over as the new leading man, Dr. Ben Seong.
Can you watch Quantum Leap on Netflix? No, the sci-fi classic is not available on Netflix right now, and the revival series won’t be either.
The good news is that there are some other shows on Netflix that might fill the void left by this one. If you’re looking for something similar to Quantum Leap on the streamer, try one of the following shows or movies:
- The Adam Project
- Stargate: SG-1
- Knight Rider
Raymond Lee will be joined by Ernie Hudson, Caitlin Bassett, Nanrisa Lee, and The Sandman star Mason Alexander Park in the highly-anticipated fall series.
Is Quantum Leap on Netflix?
Neither the original show with Bakula nor the revival is on Netflix. Sometimes shows come to Netflix once they are done airing, but that is probably not going to happen with this revival because it’s already going to be on NBCUniversal’s own streaming service, Peacock.
Where to watch the Quantum Leap revival
The only place you can watch the Quantum Leap revival is on NBC or Peacock. Premiering September 19 at 10:00 p.m. ET on NBC, episodes will be available to watch next-day exclusively on Peacock.
Those wanting to revisit the original series will also need Peacock to watch. The series is only available via Peacock Premium, meaning you will have to pay for the service as it isn’t available in the free tier. You can watch the show for free via the Roku Channel if you don’t mind watching ads.
