Let the Right One In is the latest adaptation of John Ajvide Lindqvist’s 2004 Swedish vampire novel, and this time it’s coming to the television screen.
After going through a quiet phase, vampires have come back with a vengeance this year as Let the Right One In is one of several new vampire series. Between this one, Reginald the Vampire, Interview with the Vampire, and even the recent gothic horror film The Invitation, it’s an excellent time to be a vampire fan.
Is Let the Right One In on Netflix?
Let the Right One In is a Showtime series, so it’s not on Netflix. Odds are, if it ever moves platforms (like if Showtime is folded into Paramount), it will stream on Paramount+. You can already stream it on Paramount+ if you have the Showtime add-on.
Netflix does have several vampire movies and shows streaming right now, though, such as Night Teeth, Blood Red Sky, John Carpenter’s Vampires, Day Shift, Vampires vs. the Bronx, Vampire Academy, First Kill, Legacies, V Wars, The Originals, Morbius, and the miniseries Dracula.
Where to watch Let the Right One In
As mentioned, Let the Right One In is a Showtime series, so you either need a Showtime add-on via Paramount+, Hulu, YouTube, or Prime Video, or you need to be a Showtime subscriber. The series premieres on Sunday, October 9, at 10:00 p.m. ET on Showtime, with new episodes airing on Sunday nights.
Where to watch Let the Right One In movies
The Showtime series is not the first adaptation of Lindqvist’s novel. In fact, the first two movies made from the book were both acclaimed. Let Me In is the American adaptation and was actually on Netflix up until recently, but unfortunately left the service at the end of September and is now on Hulu and streaming free (with ads) on Tubi TV.
If you want to watch the original 2008 Swedish film, Let the Right One In, you can watch that one on Hulu, too. It is also streaming on Prime Video and is free to watch with ads on Tubi TV, Roku, and Vudu.
Showtime series Let the Right One In premieres tonight, October 9, with new episodes following on Sunday nights.
