The streaming service has made some great additions this year to its catalog, including the Lindsay Lohan-led movie Falling for Christmas, Christmas with You starring Aimee Garcia, and Justin Hartley’s The Noel Diary.
Inventing the Christmas Prince stars Tamera Mowry-Housley as Shelby, and her “prince” Evan, played by Ronnie Rowe Jr. So will Netflix users be able to see the actress in this role?
Is Inventing the Christmas Prince starring Tamera Mowry on Netflix?
Unfortunately for Netflix audiences, the production will not be available on the streaming service. Hallmark produces the film, so you’ll need to tune into the Hallmark Channel with your cable subscription.
You can also watch online through Hallmark or Peacock. That’s right! The two media companies entered an agreement, meaning much of the content from Hallmark’s library is on the NBC-owned streamer. That will include Inventing a Christmas Prince.
The movie is part of Hallmark’s “Countdown to Christmas,” with 40 new holiday films this year! But be sure to watch the productions quickly. They will only stream on Peacock for 72 hours after they premiere.
This is Mowry’s fourth holiday film with the network. Her previous ones include A Christmas Miracle that came out in 2019, Christmas Comes Twice in 2020, and The Santa Stakeout in 2021. The 2022 project is set to be released Friday, Nov. 18.
Inventing the Christmas Prince introduces us to rocket engineer Shelby. She’s about to quit her job, but her daughter becomes convinced her “Scrooge-like boss” Evan is the Christmas prince, Hallmark shares. That’s a character Shelby invented years ago for her daughter. Will Evan turn out to be her prince charming?
Inventing the Christmas Prince premieres Friday, Nov. 18, on Hallmark TV.
