Swank plays the award-winning investigative journalist Eileen Fitzgerald who gives up her prestigious job in New York City to work for a metro newspaper in Anchorage, Alaska, where she hopes for a clean start and redemption on a personal and professional level.

Once Eileen lands in Alaska, she finds herself immersed in a new story related to the missing Indigenous women in the area. This story is what initially entices Eileen to leave New York behind after a massive story she was working on fell apart, along with her primary source.

Besides Swank, Alaska Daily stars Jeff Perry, Matt Malloy, Meredith Holzman, Grace Dove, Pablo Castelblanco, Ami Park, and Craig Frank.

Is Alaska Daily on Netflix?

Unfortunately, Alaska Daily is not going to stream on Netflix because it is an ABC show, meaning it will be on Hulu. It’s also possible that the series could eventually stream on Disney+, but it’s doubtful it will go to Netflix.
