If you’ve packed up all your Halloween decorations and are ready to move on from horror movies to dramas, Inside Man on Netflix might be the perfect quick binge for you. The BBC One original debuted in September before making a move to Netflix outside of the UK on Oct. 31. The show stars David Tennant as Harry Watling, a church vicar living in England, alongside Stanley Tucci as Jefferson Grieff, a prison inmate on death row in the United States.
The characters’ stories become entangled as we try to sort out the mysteries at hand. Also in the cast are Lydia West, Dolly Wells, Dylan Baker, and Louis Oliver. Inside Man was created by well-known English producer/writer Steven Moffat.
If you’ve seen Inside Man on your Netflix homepage and have decided to check it out, you’re in for a wild ride. Currently, there are four episodes available on the streamer. But is that the end of the show?
Inside Man on BBC One/Netflix episode count
Though the story of Inside Man is no doubt gripping, it’s also pretty short. There are only four episodes on Netflix right now because there are only four episodes total in the series. It premiered on BBC One on Sept. 26 and concluded shortly after on Oct. 4. Each episode is around one hour long.
Inside Man ends on a pretty conclusive note, however, there’s also then a post-credits scene that leaves us with questions. As for the potential for a second season, it doesn’t seem like Moffat has any plans right now, though depending on the audience’s reception, perhaps the story could continue in one way or another.
