Full list of Netflix movies confirmed for release in 2022


Even though 2021 didn’t disappoint when it came to new Netflix movies, 2022 has already started with a bang and will continue with that bang all year long.

Between January and August 2022, Netflix released the hit original movies The Adam Project, Purple Hearts, The Gray Man, Senior Year, and so many others. Luckily, there are still so many more upcoming releases coming soon that you won’t want to miss.

Earlier this year, Netflix promised new movies every week in 2022, with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars leading the most anticipated new action, comedy, drama, and romance movies heading our way this year.

Netflix movies coming in 2022

Although many new Netflix movies have already been announced, some even with a release date, Netflix clued us in on handful upon handful of movies fans should expect in the coming year.

On Aug. 30, Netflix announced the remainder of its full slate of original movies coming in 2022, which includes such high-profile releases as Lou, The Pal Blue Eye, Knives Out 2, The School for Good and Evil, and so many more upcoming blockbusters and fan-favorites.

On Aug. 30, a new crop of Netflix original movie release dates was announced, which you’ll find below. If a movie has already premiered, its release date has been removed.
