Did Stranger Things season 4 win any Emmys?

Television’s biggest night of the year has arrived, the Emmys 2022 ceremony will be live-streamed tonight, and Stranger Things season 4 is up for one big award in the Best Drama Series category.

Unfortunately, Stranger Things season 4 got the short end of the stick this year regarding acting nominations. Not even Millie Bobby Brown got a nod, and many hoped that Sadie Sink would get attention for her phenomenal performance in the episode “Dear Billy.”

Still, it’s not all bad news for the show. Stranger Things did pick up several wins at the Creative Arts Emmys, which awards shows for technical and artistic feats. Those wins were already announced, so we can share which awards the series won for the Emmys 2022 season.

Stranger Things took home five Creative Arts Emmys this year, bringing the total of Creative Arts Emmys awarded to the show up to 17. The show has received 64 nominations across all four seasons, both in acting and technical/artistic categories.

Emmys 2022: Stranger Things season 4 wins

  • Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup for “Chapter Four: Dear Billy”
  • Outstanding Sound Editing For A Comedy Or Drama Series for “Chapter Seven: The Massacre At Hawkins Lab”
  • Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series for “Chapter Seven: The Massacre At Hawkins Lab”
  • Outstanding Music Supervision for “Chapter Four: Dear Billy”
  • Outstanding Stunt Coordination For A Drama Series

Stranger Things is in contention for Best Drama Series at the Emmys 2022, but it’s a long shot.

The category is very stacked this year, and predictions say HBO’s Succession is likely to take the big prize of the night home. If not Succession, it might be another Netflix series that bests Stranger Things; the gargantuan hit Squid Game could take the crown.

The Emmys 2022 will air tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. You can also watch the ceremony via Peacock. All four seasons of Stranger Things are now streaming on Netflix.
