Scottish heartthrob Gerard Butler currently has a #1 movie on Netflix with his latest film, the action thriller Last Seen Alive. Given the popularity of the actor’s projects, many fans are looking to see if Netflix has other Gerard Butler movies available to watch.
You’re in luck because Netflix is currently streaming several of the 52-year-old’s movies, including the romantic comedy The Bounty Hunter and two of the Has Fallen films. Below we’ll highlight all of the Gerard Butler movies on Netflix, plus some of his other notable films and where you can watch them.
Best Gerard Butler movies on Netflix
Last Seen Alive (2022)
Gerard Butler’s latest movie is an action thriller that co-stars Marvel actress Jaimie Alexander. Butler plays a desperate husband who must dig into the local criminal underworld when his wife (Alexander) mysteriously vanishes from a gas station, forcing him to take the law into his own hands. Last Seen Alive didn’t fare well with critics, but the movie is already the #1 film on Netflix.
The Bounty Hunter (2010)
Butler took a break from action movies and thrillers to do a romantic comedy with Jennifer Aniston in 2010. It’s not the first time he’s done a rom-com, as his film The Ugly Truth with Katherine Heigl is also popular.
Bounty hunter Milo Boyd (Butler) thinks his luck is finally turning when he’s tasked with collecting his ex-wife after she skips out on bail, but Nicole (Aniston) is more cunning than she looks and escapes Milo’s grasp, leading the exes to a game of oneupmanship that soon gets them caught up in a murder investigation.
Has Fallen film series
Somehow the 2013 action film Olympus Has Fallen spawned a trilogy with at least one more movie (Night Has Fallen) on the way. There are potentially two more movies and a television show coming out after that. Butler stars in all three movies, and we can probably safely assume he’ll be in the fourth film, too. Only Olympus Has Fallen and its sequel London Has Fallen are on Netflix.
Den of Thieves (2018)
The leader of an elite unit within the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department finds himself on a collision course with a gang of ex-military men as the cops try and stop the criminals from pulling off a heist at the city’s Federal Reserve Bank. Butler plays the hard-drinking Detective Nick “Big Nick” O’Brien, head of the L.A. sheriff’s unit.
